OSH: HAZARD IDENTIFICATION, RISK ASSESSMENT AND RISK CONTROL IMPLEMENTATION
HIRARC is an acronym for Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control. It's a process used to identify and manage hazards and risks in the workplace.
How HIRARC works
- Identify hazards: Recognize objects that could cause harm or injury
- Assess risks: Determine the likelihood of injury or harm if exposed to a hazard
- Control risks: Plan measures to reduce or eliminate the risk of exposure to a hazard
